Prenatal vitamins are for you, your baby and your grandchildren. Excellent nutritional support affects generations to come. Prenatal vitamins are literally a once-in-a-lifetime chance to provide your future children and their children with their best opportunity to thrive. That is why we take prenatal vitamins seriously. We invest significant time and research into crafting our formulations. When you choose Best Nest Wellness®, you can rest assured knowing that you’ve made the absolute best choice for your prenatal care.
The Mama Bird Prenatal Multi+ line was designed by Best Nest Wellness to provide a comprehensive prenatal formula with a unique blend of amino acids, chelated minerals, and vitamins to meet the high nutritional needs of women who are pregnant. Our complex formula is made with careful consideration, not only for the increased demand for certain nutrients, but also for digestive sensitivity that can occur during pregnancy. This product contains L-methylfolate, the most biologically available form of folate, which is essential to support healthy cognitive development (1, 2, 3).
The Mama Bird Prenatal Multi+ line also contains two active coenzyme forms of vitamin B12: methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, which helps support healthy fetal development (6), energy metabolism (7), and the methylation process. Our well-balanced vitamin B complex is complete with active forms of riboflavin and B6, plus biotin to support healthy growth and development. Probiotics, organic chamomile and ginger extract are special features of this formula, supporting digestive health. A digestive enzyme blend is also added to support the absorption of nutrients.
Vitamin A is included in two forms: beta-carotene and retinyl palmitate, to help support those who have trouble converting carotenoids into the active retinoid forms that the body needs. Vitamin C and vitamin E provide antioxidant support, supporting immune health and cellular integrity. The form of iron was chosen for its high absorption rate without occasional constipation or gastric upset (8). Trace minerals are included in their chelated forms, as amino acid-chelated minerals are typically well-absorbed and may be more easily tolerated than alternative supplemental forms.
